Created in New Orleans during World War II, this deliciously dangerous cocktail may not have been invented at a beach, but it has certainly earned a spot on this list of beachy cocktails. The sweet, fruity flavor is surprisingly deceptive and if made correctly, this boozy punch will look and taste like a party in a glass. But if you're not careful, it will hit you like the tropical storm it's named after!

  • 2 oz Dark Rum

  • 2 oz Light Rum

  • 2 oz Passion Fruit Juice

  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 oz Grenadine

  • Oranges, Pineapple, or Cherries

Directions:

  2. Pour in a tall glass over ice.

  3. Garnish with fresh fruit.

  4. Find a seat and enjoy. You won't be standing long after you've had a few of these!
